VÄSTERÅs summer meet 04.07.-06.07.2024

Okay, let`s be honest, the weather didn`t exactly scream summer on this weekend. It was cloudy and at times even raining, but the Party was on nevertheless. Hundrets of American cars and thousands of people gathered for this years event wich was as usual held at the Johannisbergs Flygfält on the outskirts of Västerås.
This meet is so big and so well known that people and of course cars from all over Europe came together to celebrate their love for American car culture. Several Clubs such as the Swedish Corvette Club and many others had their own dedicated areas to show off what they`ve got.
Since this is a whole weekend, there were of course several other things on offer to keep the crowd entertained. On the runway was a huge swapmeet and several other traders of all kinds, so you could pass your time spending some money on parts, clothes and other things the fellow petrolhead needs. Of course the organizers also provided a Strip-Tent, Music and loads of food for every taste.
On the afterhours the whole of Västerås turned into a huge cruising area. There were nice cars all over the city and Party basically everywhere. If you are into American Cars and their culture this event is definitely a must-see!
