Okay, let`s be honest, when was the last time you saw such a car out in the wild? Those things are rare, and i mean seriously rare. Since this is the case i was pleasantly surprised to see this example on a random carshow. Of course i had to talk to the owner and we had a nice chat about this little beatuy. It`s a `85 Corsa TR in basically original condition...well apart from the obvious things.
The Exterior got some Ascona Wingsplits on the fenders, Hella Grille with extra highbeams and a Bosch Trim between the Taillights wich i have never seen before. Its not really obvious but all windows got a light tint wich isn`t surprising since the owner runs a business in that field. To improve the lovely noise of internal combustion he also installed a full custom stainless steel exhaust system.
Moving on to the more obvious things. Wheels are in true nineties maner ATS Classics in 13x8" ET1 wraped in Hankook 145/60R13 Rubber. Not so nineties is the Suspension. It is based on the TA Technix System but with custom CNC machined Topmonts and custom Bags to make sure he can slam that thing on the engine when aired out. This whole system is managed by the AirMext 2.0 Digital controller. It just doesn`t get more radical than that. In the interior on the other hand he was a little more gentle since it`s in almost perfect condition. He added a perfectly fitting wooden Momo wheel and a 70ies Porsche Gearknob made from wood in the same tone. To keep everything inside the cabin in the matching oldschool look he installed an old Blaupunkt Stereo with new, hidden speakers under the dashboard.
I love how this whole package keeps the original feeling of the basecar true to its era but with some modern hints. It all just fits perfectly and looks awesome!
